Alfa Insurance and Insurance Innovators Receive Awards

Atlanta, Ga. — September 14, 2011 — Vertafore (http://www.vertafore.com), a leading provider of insurance distribution channel solutions, today announced two insurance industry customers received awards during the 2011 Vertafore Connection Conference at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta on September 14.
The Raving Fan Award recognizes a company or individual that has embraced the true spirit of the raving fan concept by placing the needs of their customers at the forefront of their business. In 2011, no one exemplified the Vertafore Raving Fan spirit better than Eileen Senn of Alfa Insurance. Senn accepted the award on behalf of Alfa and for her role in promoting ImageRight’s key part in helping Alfa respond to the May tornadoes that swept through Alabama.
"ImageRight played a significant role in Alfa’s successful handling of customer claims during a time of extreme crisis,” said Mark Sonders, senior vice president of sales and client services, Vertafore. “We are pleased to have been a part of that success and are extremely grateful to Eileen for recognizing ImageRight in several trade publications.”
The second award of the event’s Wednesday morning general session recognized customer success and innovation. The Innovator Award was presented to Insurance Innovators for the company’s demonstrated adoption of Vertafore solutions including AIM, ImageRight and PolicyIssuance as well as integration with technological and business systems. Jodi Barton, supervisor of corporate training for Insurance Innovators, accepted the award.

Nearly 700 industry professionals attended this year’s event, including industry partners, Vertafore experts and customers, as well as user groups from all of Vertafore’s carrier and MGA product lines. Discussions focused on industry trends in technology and insurance and attendees additionally benefitted from networking with industry peers. The event featured educational and informative sessions geared toward streamlining business processes and improving productivity for users of AIM, ImageRight, Phoenix, Portal Server, Premium Bill, Sircon and TransactNOW, as well as interactive labs providing hands-on instruction from Vertafore staff.
