Master Compliance with Connections

Posted on February 04, 2016 by Scott Gillahan

Whether you’re an agent or you work in an agency, you’re probably familiar with the processes necessary to keep your licensing and continuing education (CE) information up to date. In last year’s “Are You Managing Your Producer Credentials Efficiently?” post, I discussed how people today are trying to make this process as efficient as possible; however, we found that the most common practices still include spreadsheets, calendar reminders, and manual efforts.

No matter how organized you may be with these practices, you’re still at risk for license lapses, fines, commission payment, and new business delays.

Last week, I had a conversation with an agency administrator in charge of credential management for her agency and agents — and she was afraid of just that. She said her biggest concern was “going to licensing jail.”

Now, licensing jail isn’t a real place, but is a scary thought when there is plenty of room for error during the compliance process.

That’s when I told her about Connections. Are You Sircon Connected

You may have seen some of our advertisements about being “Sircon connected,” but what does that mean?

The Power of Connections

Connections is about relationships.

Connections means driving improved communication between agents, agencies, and carriers to help make sure your agents are properly authorized to sell. It’s about having agent license credentials at the fingertips of you, your agents, and your carrier partners, instilling trust in your relationships.

You should look for cost effective ways to be more confident that your producers are getting and staying authorized to sell. You shouldn’t worry about checking various state websites and setting calendar reminders to keep your credentials updated with every regulatory change.

Connections can keep you out of “licensing jail” by making all of that information available for you and your agents to view and manage.

Learn how you can more efficiently manage your producer and agency credentials with Connections and get a sneak peak at carrier connections.
