Bothell, Wash.—October 13, 2011—Vertafore (http://www.vertafore.com), the leading provider of insurance distribution channel management solutions, announced that the acquisition of Kaplan Compliance Solutions (KCS) (http://www.kaplancs.com) by its wholly owned subsidiary, Sircon, has closed.

The Sircon producer licensing solutions and the KCS producer and broker dealer compliance platform and outsourcing solutions will be marketed under the Vertafore Producer Lifecycle Management product family, the most comprehensive, proven Producer Lifecycle Management offering available in the insurance and securities industries.

As part of the acquisition, Kaplan University’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (KU PACE) and Vertafore have entered into a joint marketing agreement whereby KU PACE will be a preferred education services provider for KCS/Sircon customers, allowing the organizations to bring to the market an integrated education/compliance solution.
