Danny's 5 Fast Facts
1. What do you love most about your role at Vertafore?
I love working with people and working with insurance. My dad worked in the industry, so insurance has been a part of my life since the beginning. Pairing insurance with technology and helping evolve the industry is very rewarding for me.
2. How did you get into the InsurTech business?
I started my career at my dad’s agency, then went to work for a carrier. At that carrier, I had the opportunity replace the technology infrastructure to help streamline roles and responsibilities. I was a part of InsurTech before it was even called “InsurTech”.
3. What are you most excited about for the future of InsurTech?
I love connecting the industry—from the independent agent channel to carriers, MGAs, and consumers—in a way that creates seamless day-to-day interactions that positively impact customers. We are getting close to building a fully connected network, and that’s exciting.
4. What’s your idea of the perfect weekend?
Being on the boat with my girls, either snorkeling or playing at the sand bar.
5. I’m coming to visit you! What are your favorite/must-do things in your city?
I live on a small island off the coast of Florida, and I would take you snorkeling, fishing, and make sure to visit the Everglades to catch the sunrise.
