1. What do you love most about your role at Vertafore?
Working with a great group of people across the organization. When there are challenges, seeing the team come together to tackle problems is awesome and inspiring. Our people genuinely care about our customers, our products, and their teammates.
2. How did you get into the InsurTech business?
I’ve worked in software across different industries for over two decades, and Vertafore is my first foray into InsurTech. It’s a transforming industry with a drive to modernize the business, and the opportunity to be a part of that was something I couldn’t turn down.
3. What are you most excited about for the future of InsurTech?
I’m excited about all the innovation and opportunities we have in the InsurTech space to transform the ways users currently do business to more modern and efficient workflows that take advantage of newer technologies. I am passionate about delivering value to and solving our customers’ problems.
4. What’s your idea of the perfect weekend?
A day hike with my corgis, and Korean barbeque to end the day. That would be perfection.
5. I’m coming to visit you! What are your favorite/must-do things in your city?
The mountains are calling, we must go! My go-to experience for visitors are hiking in Red Rocks or Gardens of the Gods and whitewater rafting – any river in the early season. A visit to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park is also a must-do.
