Euan C. Menzies, President & CEO

Currently president and chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors, Euan Menzies joined Vertafore as president and chief operating officer in September 2000 and has been chief executive officer since May 2001. From 1987 until early 2000, Mr. Menzies was a senior executive with The Thomson Corporation, where he held a number of general management positions, most notably as the president and chief executive of Thomson's tax and regulatory division (RIA Group). From February 2000 until September 2000, he was chairman and chief executive officer of iClick, an Internet-based software and services company in the human resources sector. Mr. Menzies is a chartered accountant in the U.K., and earned his undergraduate degree (B.Acc) from Glasgow University, Scotland.

John Morrow, Senior Vice President Corporate Development and Legal Affairs

John Morrow joined Vertafore in June 2006 and is senior vice president, corporate development and legal affairs. Mr. Morrow is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and partnerships, UK operations, legal matters, data privacy, IT security and compliance for the company. Mr. Morrow was previously a partner with Heller Ehrman LLP, a major international law firm, where he represented public and private technology companies in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, licensing and strategic partnership transactions, corporate governance, and general business matters. Mr. Morrow joined the firm as a result of its merger with Venture Law Group, a leading Silicon Valley-based law firm focused on representing technology companies. Prior to joining Venture Law Group, Mr. Morrow was an associate at Baker & Hostetler LLP. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from DePauw University and a juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Julia Nenke, Senior Vice President, Organizational Capability

Julia Nenke joined Vertafore in January 2010 as senior vice president, human resources. Ms. Nenke most recently led human resources at Tabcorp Ltd where she focused on leading a broad set of change initiatives to drive real, sustained change within the business. To achieve this result, the team focused on the organizational model, reward systems, talent management, and cross-unit linkages. Julia has also worked in human resources management for several other high quality organizations, including the Campbell Soup Company, News Corporation and GlaxoSmithKline. Julia is a native of Australia, and has worked in senior HR roles in both Australia and in Europe.

Mark Craig, Senior Vice President, Product Management

Mark Craig joined Vertafore in May of 2011 as vice president of agency management systems product management, and in February of 2012 he was appointed senior vice president of product management. Before Vertafore, Mr. Craig spent thirteen years at Oracle in various consulting, strategic product management and development leadership roles , where he was honored as ‘Oracle Innovator’ in 2009. He is a recognized innovator with expertise in Software-as-a-Service and On-Premise software driven business processes. Mr. Craig earned his master of business administration in strategic marketing and business strategy from UC Berkeley. Additionally, he possesses a bachelor of commerce in accounting and bachelor of science in biochemistry from the University of Queensland, Australia.

Theo Beack, Senior Vice President, Product Development

Theo Beack joined Vertafore in 2011 as vice president of product development, agency management systems, and in July of 2012 he was appointed senior vice president of product development. Before Vertafore, Beack was vice president of research, architecture and cloud computing at Amdocs. He also held technology leadership roles at BEA Systems, Inc. and Software AG. Theo brings to Vertafore more than 20 years of experience in enterprise class software, architecture, technology strategy & innovation spanning multiple industries. Theo earned two computer science degrees from the Tshwane University of Technology in his native land of South Africa.

Mark Sonders, Senior Vice President, Sales and Client Services

Mark Sonders joined Vertafore in August 2011 as senior vice president, sales and client services. In this role, he leverages his experience in both the software and financial services sectors to lead Vertafore’s integrated sales and service organization. Mr. Sonders’ responsibilities extend across sales, account management, marketing, professional services, and client support throughout the entire insurance distribution channel, including independent agents, brokers, MGAs, carriers and reinsurers. Prior to joining Vertafore, Mr. Sonders was managing director, head of direct sales, Americas at Thomson Reuters Corporation, a leading multi-national business information and technology corporation. During his tenure at Thomson Reuters, Mr. Sonders led teams responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue across multiple channels and drove sales transformation and other key change management initiatives for several verticals across the company. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Mark was managing director, sales with eMind LLC (now part of the Kaplan Educational Group), a provider of online insurance and securities continuing education and compliance solutions. Mr. Sonders holds a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and finance from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Larry Hagerty, Senior Vice President & General Manager, PLM & Information Businesses

Larry Hagerty joined Vertafore in February 2013 as senior vice president and general manager for the company’s Producer Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Information businesses. Mr. Hagerty has extensive executive experience leading high-growth information and information technology companies. He recently served as President of MedAptus, a healthcare revenue cycle software company. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Medstat, at the time a healthcare analytics subsidiary of the Thomson Corporation. Mr. Hagerty has a BS degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Thomas Enochs, Senior Vice President, Operations

Tomas Enochs

Enochs joined in February 2013 to assume a new role leading Vertafore's customer support, professional services, data center, enterprise applications and IT functions. He has a strong track record of helping technology and services companies efficiently scale operations to meet market opportunities, particularly involving SaaS. He previously was VP of professional services at Azaleos, which provides Microsoft back-office collaboration tools to medium and large clients via a SaaS model. Earlier he held roles leading engineering, professional services and operations at growing technology companies including Globys, Qpass and Terrabeam. He began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he ran Andersen's technology competence practice in the Pacific Northwest. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Virgina.
