Chief Customer Chat: Another great Vertafore milestone

milestone

By Cassidy Smirnow, Chief Customer Officer

By now you may have heard the big news: Vertafore has been acquired by Roper Technologies. Many of you are probably wondering what this means for you, and the short answer is good things. News of this change may be surprising or even scary – so I thought I would take a few minutes today to share my perspective on this exciting chapter in Vertafore’s future.

Roper-Vertafore

When Amy first shared the news with me, that our future home would be with Roper, my very first reaction was “This is the best thing for our customers!”.  Roper has a history of buying world-class companies that have clear leadership in their space and are well-positioned to be successful far into the future. They help great companies grow by creating even more value for their customers, which aligns directly with Vertafore’s mission.

Roper spent a long time analyzing the insurance industry and has 100% confidence that the independent agent will continue to grow and thrive as a key component of the insurance distribution channel. This acquisition validates their confidence in Vertafore’s strategy to provide innovative and critical solutions to our customers now and into the future.

Roper doesn’t buy companies with the intent to sell them, nor do they buy companies that need to be pulled apart and put back together. As a member of the Roper family, Vertafore will continue to operate as an independent company. Our organization structure won’t change, our strategy won’t change, and our commitment to you, our customers, won’t change. We will double down and stay focused on our promises to you. We will continue to deliver great products into the market, so that we can continue to transform the insurance distribution channel.

I am more excited than ever to be a part of this community and to work with all of you every day. People ask me what my favorite part of my job is, and I say proudly that I am privileged to work with the very greatest customers in the world – and I mean it. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, any member of our executive team, or your account team here at Vertafore if you have any questions!
