Collaborating for the future: We’re using Amazon Web Services to make smarter InsurTech

Written By: Greg Ingino, Chief Technology Officer

Amazon has long been a household name, from its early days as an online book retailer, to its more recent fame as a streaming video service and parent-company of Whole Foods. But if you’re not working behind the scenes in a technical field, you might not be as familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Amazon’s cloud infrastructure arm.

According to Amazon, AWS has been “the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform” since 2006. It offers services for businesses around the world, from storage and databases to data security and artificial intelligence. Companies large and small rely on AWS to power their online infrastructure.

As we look towards the future of InsurTech and realize that our needs for smarter, more agile, and more complex technology are going to continue to grow exponentially in the coming years, we are excited to announce our collaboration with Amazon Web Services as our provider of choice. AWS already provides artificial intelligence/machine learning capabilities to many top SaaS companies – from Netflix to TurboTax – and we’re excited to start using their advanced capabilities to drive your business forward.
