Girtha Perkins 

Girtha's work with Vertafore began in 1997 (at a company then known as Pictorial), in the outsourcing division as a licensing administrator. She was the first administrator cross-trained for all software services. She has held an agent’s license in Indiana and Michigan, yet her deep knowledge of insurance licensing extends to all 50 states.

Early in her insurance career, Girtha served as a product analyst, where she managed issues related to problem-solving and testing. Later on, as a client specialist, she served as the first point of contact for customers, as well as their lead advocate within the company. Currently, her work focuses on maintaining accurate, all-lines licensing requirements from all 50 states and the District of Columbia for e-PAL, an online reference product and the industry leader. Additionally, she prepares a weekly e-newsletter, the e-PAL Bulletin Board, which provides information relating to state changes and other industry news. Her work still includes close work with customers, for whom she provides product training and compliance research.

Girtha is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, a graduate of Indiana University, and former broadcaster. Outside the office, Girtha is very active in her church and various community organizations. Public service is in her blood. Besides her extensive cookbook collection, she enjoys jazz, good wine, good times, and good friends. She has been married 42 years to her college sweetheart, and they are the proud parents of one daughter.
