Fast Facts

What do you love most about your role at Vertafore?

The excitement that surrounds the DCM business. From my first conversations with the Vertafore team, I could sense that the executive team, including our partners from Roper Technologies, see the value the Sircon product suite provides to our customer base. That became even more evident when I met the people that make up our business line. This group of individuals has a passion for the insurance industry and delivering products that help our customers every day. I am excited to partner with this team to drive positive results for our company and our customers!

How did you get into the InsurTech business?

Before Vertafore, I worked with large technologies companies in different industriesHuman Resources/Talent, Payroll & Benefits and Financial Servicesand I loved the ability to drive products to these industries that helped our customers serve their customers better. Coming to Vertafore, allows me the opportunity leverage my experience in those industries to deliver the same value in this space. Every person needs insurancehow exciting is it to provide the engine behind that process.

What are you most excited about for the future of InsurTech?

The immense opportunity to drive productivity and efficiencies. This industry changes constantly and varies so differently from state to state. Launching new solutions into this space that helps our customers react and respond faster to their clients is exciting.

What’s your idea of the perfect weekend?

Having both my older boys at home. With older children, getting quality time with them makes my heart full. It really doesn’t matter what we dojust that we are together! If they aren’t home, my husband and I love to relax together watching sports, spending time outside or hanging with our close friends.

I’m coming to visit you! What are your favorite/must-do things in your city?

Atlanta and the surrounding areas are so much fun! There are many amazing places in and around the city but a few of my favorite things are walking around the beltline and trying foods from the different restaurants. There is a great deal of history and art in that area that I love to enjoy. But if you enjoy hiking or being in nature, we will take a trip up to the North Georgia mountains and take a hike on many of the trails to see the beautiful waterfalls!
