Chief Customer Chat: Vertafore, Near You!

When I joined Vertafore, one of the first things I did was look for data that might demonstrate how our customers felt about us. My past experiences have taught me that surveys can be a valuable way to understand how customers perceive a company.  

After pouring over thousands of survey results, one thing became very clear: our customers wanted more connection with us. You asked for more information about your product(s), about Vertafore, our partners and about what other customers were doing.   

Over the past year we have been working hard to build better connections. Most recently, we’ve been trying to figure out how we could actually meet more of you – in person. You may recall in one of my previous blogs I talked about our launch of the Vertafore @Series. In 2018 as part of this initiative we visited 10 cities, invited all of our customers local to those cities to join us, and created opportunities to talk about the industry, share our product roadmap, and build a stronger community. We loved each of these opportunities to connect with you and gained valuable feedback from each one. 

To continue that momentum, and in honor of our 50th anniversary, our 2019 goal is to attend at minimum, 50 events or gatherings where we can connect with you in-person. Yes, it’s a lofty goal, but we think it matters. In addition to our Vertafore-hosted events, we have made a commitment to show up to every in-person NetVU Chapter meeting that will have us. We’ll work with the local chapter leaders to make sure we have the right people supporting the meetings, depending on the topics covered.  

To reach 50 in 2019, we’re also making it out to more industry events. Already this year we’ve been at Assurex, Elevate, and smaller gatherings such as Small Agency Conference of Missouri and Insurance Agents of Arkansas National Workshop. You’ll notice we’ve changed the “Events” list in the Radar to be “Vertafore, Near You” so you’ll know exactly where you can find us. Keep your eyes on that section each month for an ever-growing list of places we’ll be, as we discover more opportunities to travel.  

It’s been great to meet so many of you already and I look forward to connecting with many more of you in person this year. If you have ideas for events and gatherings we should make sure to attend please let us know



P.S.  In case you are wondering, yes, we still look at every customer survey that you submit.  A member of my team reads your comments and categorizes each piece of feedback so we can respond accordingly and measure our improvement over time!
